Description
Innocentos – Cuban school kids – Kris Doe Education became a keystone of the 1959 Cuban revolution. The children of Havana always seemed so proud to be running together in their uniforms and sharing the bonds of friendship. This pastel/charcoal mixed media piece captures a moment of seeming trepidation as they negotiate the afternoon traffic on the busy streets of the city.
